Singapore-based biotech firm Mirxes has tripled its workforce since 2021, expanding to over 300 employees globally. Specializing in RNA technology for early disease detection, Mirxes credits its rapid growth to the Scale-Up SG programme by Enterprise Singapore.

Scale-Up SG is designed to help high-potential Singaporean companies grow and expand internationally. Launched in 2019, it has supported 92 companies across various sectors, helping them develop growth strategies, enter new markets, and launch new products. It provides companies with access to expert guidance, market insights, and funding support, aiming to transform them into global leaders.

For Mirxes, Scale-Up SG helped refine the company's market strategies for Southeast Asia. The firm is now expanding into Indonesia and Malaysia.

Other companies in the program have also thrived. Mercantile Pacific expanded into 80 markets and aims to triple growth by 2026, while Rotary Engineering entered new markets and segments, boosting its market potential by over 40 percent. The Scale-Up SG programme has supported 92 companies, helping them expand internationally and launch new products, positioning them for global leadership.
