Operating Partner (Real Estate)

Jeffrey serves as Operating Partner, with a specialisation in real estate and facilities management. Formerly CEO of Ascendas Services and Senior MD (Operations) for Capitaland, he has over 30 years of experience in the sector including leadership roles in facilities management companies like EM Services, Keppel FMO & CPG Facilities Management. Jeffrey is also chair of several industry committees in Singapore’s Building and Control Authority (BCA) and an Adjunct Professor at the Singapore University of Social Science.

Jeffrey is currently the co-chairman of the Tripartite Committee for Security (STC & STIC) and Cleaning Industry (STC) and the Chairman in the Singapore Polytechnic’s Advisory Committee for the School of Architecture and Built Environment

Through his career, he has pushed for the adoption of numerous technological solutions to drive overall operations efficiency in the Facilities Management industry such as the implementation of the Building Intelligent Platform that monitors the building performance for over 25 buildings in ASB and over 40 buildings in CapitaLand.

Regarding sustainability, he was a key player in obtaining Green Mark Champion 2012 for Ascendas Singbridge (ASB) and the Green Mark Platinum Champion 2020 for CapitaLand.

Moreover, Jeffrey holds up many membership roles in various firms such as the Co-chairman of the Industry Transformation Map (ITM) Tripartite Committee for Security and Cleaning in 2017, member of the Institute of Engineers, Real Estate’s Industry Transformation Map (ITM) for Facilities Management, and Real Estate’s Industry Transformation Map (ITM) for Facilities Management.

Due to his outstanding contributions and leadership positions, he attained many awards such as the Nanyang Alumni Service Award in 2009, Singapore’s Best FM Building Owner/ Occupier (ASPL), Singapore’s Best FM Technology Provider of the Year 2018 (ASPL), and EHS Building Owner Excellence Award of the Year 2019.
