SEEDS Capital, the investment arm of Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG), has allocated $150 million to co-invest in Singapore-based deep-tech start-ups over the next three years.
This initiative, under the Start-up SG Equity scheme, aims to attract private sector partners to accelerate the growth of deep-tech companies that require long-term capital due to their extended path to commercialization.
SEEDS Capital has raised its investment cap for deep-tech start-ups from $8 million to $12 million and will now include later-stage companies for co-investment. The focus is on areas like advanced manufacturing, medtech, agrifood tech, spacetech, quantumtech, and sustainability.
Currently, SEEDS Capital collaborates with 40 partners, including both global investors and local deep-tech funds, to continue building Singapore’s deep-tech ecosystem.
